A TASTE OF SOUTH KOREA'S AESTHETIC CAFÉ CULTURE
If there's one thing that surprised me about Korea, it's that their café scene is unmatched! Usually when I travel, I don't spend a lot of time at restaurants and cafés as I try to make the most of my time seeing the place. However, when I was researching about Korea, I came across many interesting cafés and my itinerary quickly flipped into a culinary experience.

JEJU, SOUTH KOREA: A NATURE LOVER'S DREAM
Many people come to South Korea and miss out on Jeju. A hidden gem and the ultimate getaway for locals and nature lovers. I get it. It's a little further out and may not be considered, especially since you need to take a flight to get to the island, but trust me when I say it's worth it.

A RELAXING GETAWAY TO BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA
Have you heard of Busan? Located a short distance from Seoul and easily accessible by train, Busan is a great weekend getaway from the chaos of the city.

THE ESSENTIAL HALAL FOOD GUIDE TO SOUTH KOREA
One of the most surprising halal-friendly destinations for me was South Korea. Depending on where you are in the country, halal food may not be widely available, but there are still some options everywhere you go.

PHENOMENAL PHUKET: THE ULTIMATE TOURIST GUIDE
As much as I would love to solely focus on visiting countries I haven't been to yet, if there is one place I don't mind making an exception for, it's Thailand. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thailand is different from other places I have been to, given that the overall experience is guaranteed to be good. Not to mention, the food is one of the best perks of visiting Thailand. You can never go wrong with Thai food, and I feel like the more you explore the country, the more you fall in love with it.

EXPLORING THE CAPITAL CITY OF THE LAND OF SMILES: BANGKOK
Coming from a calmer place like Chiang Mai and diving right into the bustling the city life can feel quite overwhelming, especially in a place like Bangkok. I am not a fan of cities. Coming to a place like Bangkok, where I am instantly faced with bad traffic, sensory overload and too many things going on at once, feels overwhelming. Chaotic even.

CHIANG MAI CHRONICLES: THE BEST OF NORTHERN THAILAND
"If you don't like Thailand, you are mental."
A friend said those exact words to me. I was debating where to go next and though Thailand was high up on the list for a long time, I hesitated as the temperatures were expected to be 30+ degrees. Personally, I prefer "comfortable" temperatures, below 25.

THE BEST OF NUSA PENIDA ISLAND, INDONESIA
When you look up things to do in Bali, there is no doubt that a day trip to Nusa Penida will pop up and it's for a good reason. After spending 2 weeks around Indonesia as a solo female traveler, my stay in Nusa Penida takes the crown for being the highlight of my entire trip. It is unfortunate that the majority of people only visit it as a day trip. I almost did the same mistake, until I came across a great deal for a stunning property.

SOLO TRAVEL DIARIES: JAKARTA, INDONESIA
With Indonesia being a predominantly Muslim-majority country, it is not common to see Muslim women traveling alone. The reason I chose it as a destination was mainly because I knew it is a safe place and it has been on my list for a while.

BALI BOUND: IS IT WHAT YOU THINK?
While Bali has become a hotspot in the past few years, especially among digital nomads and travel groups, is Bali everything that you see on Instagram? Filters, swings, rice fields and thrilling experiences. Sounds great, but what's missing?

EXPLORING THE PHILIPPINES WITH LOCALS FOR A WEEK
How did I end up in the Philippines, you ask?
A girl that I had met in real life through mutual friends, told me, "Come meet me in the Philippines, I'll show you my country."

CAPTIVATING CAMBODIA: SIEM REAP UNCOVERED
Cambodia is a destination that is often overlooked by many. I personally hadn't really thought of spending a vacation in Cambodia. However, when I found myself in Phuket, Thailand, I thought why not hop over to a new destination rather than seeing more of Thailand? While checking flight options out of Phuket to neighboring countries, I found a direct flight to Siem Reap and so, that's where my journey to Cambodia began.

HOW TO EXPERIENCE THE MALDIVES ON A BUDGET
What comes to mind when you think of a trip to the Maldives? Let me guess...beautiful beaches, breathtaking sunsets, crystal-clear blue waters...and expensive?

5 WAYS TO EXPERIENCE JORDAN BEYOND PETRA
Jordan is a country that exceeded my expectations. It is easily ranked as one of my top 7 destinations so far. Jordan is a place I have been wanting to visit for years and I was so excited to have finally made it.

THE ULTIMATE ROADTRIP GUIDE TO OMAN
Though it's been on my bucket list to visit Oman (specifically Salalah) for years, it's only recently that I made the effort to go. Guess what? Oman also turned out to be one of my favorite destinations to date!

MAKING THE MOST OF UZBEKISTAN IN ONE WEEK
I can see Uzbekistan being one of the next hot tourist destinations in the next few years. If you haven't heard of it, it is one of the cheapest and most affordable places you can visit. Uzbekistan is in Central Asia. From Toronto, the best route would be via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. Now you're probably wondering, how did I end up there, out of all places?

THE ROAD TO KYRGYZSTAN FROM UZBEKISTAN
This time, I only went for a short trip. Mainly, it was to visit my friend. I stayed two nights in Tashkent, before making my way to Kyrgyzstan, a country that's been high on my list for a while now. Kyrgyzstan is any nature lover's dream!

CULINARY GUIDE TO UZBEKISTAN: A WORLD OF FLAVOURS
Nothing compares to going to a country where you can eat everything because it's halal. In Uzbekistan, the cuisine is rich in flavors. Uzbek food contains a lot of meat-heavy dishes but also includes dried fruits, fresh vegetables, and nuts.

LOCAL LIVING: A FOODIE’S TRAVEL GUIDE TO KUALA LUMPUR
I lived in Malaysia when I was younger and a big part of my experience while living there involved my love for food. My best memory of my stay also has to do with food.

ONE DAY IN BEIRUT, LEBANON
If there's one place I didn't expect to find myself in, this would be it:
Beirut, Lebanon.

A 24-HOUR LAYOVER GUIDE TO QATAR
I purposely opted for a long layover, so that I can go out to explore..
Little did I know that the 22 hours I would spend in Qatar would result in me falling in love with the place.
As I was tight on time, I tried my best to maximize my time in Doha.
I left the airport and went straight to my hotel, where I dropped off my bags, took a shower, prayed, and freshened up after my 12-hour flight. Shortly after, I went out for dinner.

HAJJ DIARIES AND WHAT TO EXPECT ON THIS JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME
One of the tips I would suggest to anyone going to Hajj is to remember that people are coming from all over the world. It is not a vacation. It is a journey you need to prepare for.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT UMRAH IN THE BLESSED MONTH OF RAMADAN
Once you have experienced Umrah in Ramadan, there is no going back. Visiting the Holy Land at any other time of the year will feel different. It almost feels as if there is a missing puzzle piece. As much as I hate big crowds, performing Umrah in Ramadan was one of the best experiences I ever had, despite the journey not being easy.

RAMADAN IN KUWAIT: A JOURNEY TO TRADITION
As I was already in Saudi Arabia, I thought, why not fly over to Kuwait, since it's not too far. I booked a one-way ticket, as I had no idea what to expect and/or how many days I would want to spend, given that it is quite expensive, and at the time, very hot out.
